But now, God is doing something different! There is a new sound in the spirit of old things passing away.It is truly a time of new beginnings! Our awesome God is so dynamic and alive! He is creating things right now that have never existed until now. “I have made you hear new things from this time, Even hidden things, and you did not know them. They are created now and not from the beginning; And before this day you have not heard them, Lest you should say, ‘Of course I knew them. ’Surely you did not hear, Surely you did not know; Surely from long ago your ear was not opened.” Isaiah 48:7,8.
In the spirit there are whirlwinds of change. We are standing on the supernatural threshold of all things being possible. The One Who is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, is waiting on us! This is a time to rise up and exercise our full God- given authority and power! God wants to release His unlimited creativity into our lives! However, if we don’t have a solid relationship with Him, and really know and trust Him, we’ll be afraid to do anything and resist what He wants to do. When we fear change, and don’t understand where it’s coming from, we’ll continue to do the same things we’ve always done.
There is security in doing the same things day in and day out… but, the security of our routine can become an idol, and blind us to new things. We can pray and ask the Lord to deliver us from specific things in our life, but our refusal to change can block His moving in our life. We can actually prolong our miserable circumstances by resisting “stepping out of the boat”.
God has promised to feed the hungry with good things, and the rich He has sent away empty. Luke 1:53 Don’t allow yourself to be content with your “riches”, ie present possessions and circumstances. Even more importantly, don’t be satisfied with your spiritual “condition”, and relationship with The Lord. We must stir ourselves to rise up and seek the Lord with all our hearts; to increase in experiential knowledge of Him, and move into new realms of the spirit.
It’s not enough just to say: “Lord I believe” ….we have to believe enough to act on what we believe! The church, the Bride, has said “yes and amen”, but now we must stand up and go forward on that yes and amen, and act on what we say we believe! Until we truly surrender ourselves totally to the Lord, and yield to His will for us, we remain stagnant, an empty sound of yes and amen.

This a important admonition from the Lord for me and speaks right into my current growth in the Lord and the path He is taking me. My spirit rejoices in your writings and the instructions contained in them.
AMEN & AMEN! I HEAR THE SOUND, I FEEL THE RUMBLE WITH EXPECTATION OF THE NEW .. I AM HEARING IT EVERYWHERE. LET THE LIGHT OF HIS GLORY SHINE OUT OF US BY DOING, LEST WE BURST WITH THE KNOWING WITHOUT THE ACTION THAT RELEASES THE POWER.. what a profound and true word from the Lord, Pastor BB
Yes and Amen
Thank you for this much needed WORD…Amen.
Hi BB (and Larry),
Thanks for the new blog post. How are you? Do you have a new home yet? I’ll have to get on Facebook and catch up. Finally getting to my email again. this must be the Oct. update you mentioned in your text.
We are doing great. John still is Hep. C free. It’s been a year now. He is planning to retire next year and wants a dog and has lots of plans.
I just started at Kohl’s Nov. 1. I really enjoy it. I work very few hours right now and unfortunately the pay is very low compared to my usual. I just applied for another Pearson job that I would be very good for. We’ll see. Not sure I will survive working that hard again but I’m willing to give it a go. I got great reviews from the last job despite getting so sick.
I love the Bible study at FOTAM but am not always going there Sun. mornings. I’m going with John when he goes to church and go elsewhere when he doesn’t. I’m sort of phasing out of the worship teams at FCF and First Baptist as well. They would really like me to be a member of the church and make a commitment to be there Sunday mornings which I don’t feel to do. The same situation with New Life. All 3 groups practice Thurs. PM, now. I am practicing a lot by myself while my workload is light, but less with others.
As I go back into my email I hope to find more updates from you.
Have you been hiking in the Enchanted Forrest? That is a place I wanted to hike if I had gone out there for a conference.
Bless you and family! So glad God is meeting you.
Love, Cheryl
PS. Just got 2 new Bibles. My old ones were missing chunks and such a mess. I’m loving my new ones!
